and now... in the book world

If you haven't read Stephenie Meyer's Twilight you are truly missing out on one of the great new books. Although it's definitely marketed towards young adults, I think pretty much anyone who has ever had a crush on anyone else could relate to this book. It, and its sequel New Moon, are fantastic. Luckily, the third in the series, Eclipse, comes out tomorrow. I'm lucky enough to be judging a contest at our local Barnes and Nobles.

I have no idea what the contest will entail (children dressed as vampires? werewolves? lovely poetry about crushes and young love?) but I love any excuse to get excited about books!

Harry Potter, Eclipse, and the second book the in the "Looking Glass War" series. This will be an excellent month.
