so... a philosophical break

around January two things happened, I got swamped with work (I ended up on two committees) and one of my students "found" my blog. The first issue was resolved with a bit of creative time management. The second, however, gave me quite a bit of pause. What should I do about students/parents/admin who might wander onto my blog? Give myself a pseudonym? Censor my posts? As it turned out in took my six months of on and off contemplation to figure it out. And in the end?

I'll just carry on as normal.

I don't feel that I've said anything at all outrageous, or anything I would be unwilling to say in "the real world".
